Some people, ok, me, never understand why people pay more money for the same hotel room I do just because it mentions a view. Why pay for a view when the view is there?

…Lori and I are assigned hotel and resort rooms with spectacular views – Sydney Opera House at the Park Hyatt Sydney, Washington Monument at the Mandarin Oriental, and The Pacific Ocean from the deck of our cottage near Mendocino CA.
